As much as he's an idiot, he still officially won the race, AND the crash wasn't his fault. If you look at the picture I attached, his left front tie rod snapped just after crossing the finishing line which caused his left front tire to snap back. He didn't have a chance in hell of saving that one.

I used to rent that game for weeks at a time. About 5 years ago I found it at a pawn shop for $1.99. Needless to say I bought a copy. I actually played it about a month ago. Frigging hard game though
