Under the hood it was a Toyota engine/transmission. Strangely though GM offered a longer warranty on the drivetrain than Toyota did (I debated buying one)
Actually that is a pretty catchy looking car
1964 Mustang. Yes, they did play with the styling through the 60's and make the front more aggressive, but they made the back end worse. All in all, the first body of the mustang was the best.
