I ran the detail station at a JD Byrider in the late 2000's. This was the car reserved for customers that could afford another $25 for their weekly payment. You can polish a turd but in the end you will just have a shiny turd.

Former detailer and red 2nd gen owner as well. I miss the good old days of MR2OC.com.

I’ve called both Subaru dealers in my town for months to schedule my appointment and have gotten the same response each time. Still waiting for airbags.

Seriously. I watched it go from 2 stars to 1.7 in just 10 minutes. I’d love to be a fly on the wall in that sales office right now.

For a very long time. Besides I’m used to cars that want to kill me after years of turbo MR2 ownership.

I don’t what it is about LM racing that makes me hold it in the highest regard over all other types of racing. I think it has to do with the level of commitment these guys have to put in. They completely give it their all.

I had literally just turned on the race seconds before this happened and was like “WTF!!! How are you even allowed in that car?”

I have an STI seat for it too. I just need to do a little modifying to mount it. Overall it wasn’t too hard to build with basic carpentry tools. The base is an old closet door that I reinforced and put some casters on. Then I just had to build the frame for the wheel and mount the shifter.

This is how I usually watch LM races. Racing with them on GT6 while I have the actual race up on a monitor next to me. This was the 2015 Rolex 24.

My ‘87 Mustang. Looked amazing. Was fast as hell but it took a few days to realize the death sentence that awaited me with that car. Things like a “wire tuck” which culminated in routing the main hairness AROUND the strut in the wheel well. There was already several exposed wires from friction.

I was about to say... Just watch some race videos and you’ll understand why.

Just a heads up. It’s a known fact in the Accord community that cheap upper ball joints that come with no name control arms are extremely prone to failure. I usually see at least 1 a month on the national facebook group.

Yeah, I can’t wait until Mahk can get ahold of this one.

Can you help me out with some lotto numbers?

I hear ya. I’m no saint so I know what it means when you’re really down and need help. After being there and clawing my way back to a respectable life I do what I can to help others in need. Sadly though people like that make it hard to know when you’re truly giving someone a leg up or just being used so they can get

I’m sorry.  What was that? I was reading yet another story about an innocent kid killed by a stray bullet in a black neighborhood. Who’s cannibalizing who again?

I was approached at a gas station by a guy that said he was out of gas and trying to get home. I truly didn’t have any cash on me but did have a gas card. When I explained this to him and offered to fill up his car some if he pulled it up to the pump, he turned around and walked away before I could even finish my

The plug and play solution is to get the 4.44 drivetrain from a Forester or Legacy. It’s known to be better built and the shorter gears makes it get up and go a bit faster.

Like others have said, prepare to replace the trans for either a 4.44 swap or it’s not hard to get a manual swap done these days. An external cooler helps extend the life of the trans a bit.

When police checked his GPS they found it set for somewhere in the Tampa area. If he had better gimmick control he would’ve made it.
