Generally I hate remakes, they’re never usually needed. This game deserves a remake. While excellent in ps1 form, I feel like it could be expanded. But more importantly not enough people played the game. The music is amazing the direction of scenes was way beyond it’s time.

Rarely do I call games masterpieces. This is such a case. Arguably the best localization work I’ve ever witnessed in a game. Gameplay is unique to this very day, and it encourages exploration and replay-ability. Music is so haunting. It has this metroidvania feel combined with RPG mechanics and a unique targeting…

Vagrant Story had the best low-poly art, ever. Every vertex was lovingly hand-placed to evoke the essence of the beautiful concept art. I’ve been longing for a sequel or a remake.

I’m not into visuals usually. But in this game, I loved them. I like how great it looks as a PS1 game. Like how sun is shining, the light creates this clear light area on the character in the cutscenes. Also the sounds on this game are really nice. Sounds of footsteps, armor clanking and so on, great stuff.
