Batteries last more than 2 years? I still have my iPad 1 which I bought on day one.. guess what? Still running, just fine. So trust me, last thing you need to worry about is battery :) Apple doesn't use cheap parts like Samsung does.

I have owned 3 generations of HP touchsmart PC's. I bought them only and only for their All-In-One design and because Touchsmarts have better specs than just All-In-Ones.

I have to admit, 95% of the times I use my iPad in landscape mode, I even have the orientation locked in landscape mode. So I can see why they would reduce the bezel on the sides, specially on a much lighter iPad mini. Portrait mode is only good for reading books or sometimes looking at pics.

So all 9"+ Samsung tabs are iPad knock offs? hmmm.. interesting...
