I have to admit, 95% of the times I use my iPad in landscape mode, I even have the orientation locked in landscape mode. So I can see why they would reduce the bezel on the sides, specially on a much lighter iPad mini. Portrait mode is only good for reading books or sometimes looking at pics.

So all 9"+ Samsung tabs are iPad knock offs? hmmm.. interesting...
