The growth of your money over your lifetime is what makes a retirement plan work. Waiting until the end is going to leave you poor and scrambling. Start SOME kind of plan now, and put something into it every payday. Even if it's just $10, make it an amount you can afford, and be consistent.

Wealth builds wealth. Sure you could spend now but invest some of that money and the returns later in life can be shockingly good.
