That was funny if not entirely correct. Kudos!
Hey, weird question: What do you think?: I have NEVER seen 1 episode of Dr. Who, ever. Do you think it would be a good idea if I watch THIS episode as the first one to see if I get hooked and then maybe I start watching some of the older seasons? I mean, I've always been kind of interested but I'm a "completionst" and…
Jeez... why, thanks!
Well..... the video is funny, but it comes across as one of those books with too many "don'ts" and too few "ideas". I'm tired of hearing how one has to strip down your writing so the least common denominator can read your stories (in other words, how to write shit like Twilight and get rich by doing it).
No man! You missed the whole exposition of what happened! The bird (falcon?) was pinching a nerve that runs through our eyes and that causes the detective to press the accelerator instead of the brakes! Is all very sciency.... (hence: sci-fi).
After watching the trailer, I can't shake the feeling that I watched this when I was a kid, or maybe just the trailer, because I can't really remember ever watching it... and I wonder why??? Of course, I will watch it now (that bird knowing exactly which optic nerve to pinch to prevent the detective from apply the…
Welcome to reality! Now, be amazed with me at the rest of the world still watching TV shows from syndicated channels.
Who the FUCK thought that piece of shit, mediocre, dime-a-dozen, "song" was fitting for The Hobbit??????????????????????? (yep, first time I heard it).
You wrote the adjective crappy in the wrong place; it should read: "Subway would tie their sandwiches into a CRAPPY movie where kids compete in a brutal contest for the amusement of the rich"
" Marvel kicking DC's ass in the live-action entertainment" - true, if you don't differentiate quantity versus quality.
Nice! Since "Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH" is in my list... Ender's Game, one of my favorite books of all time (if you doubt it, ask me what's the name of one of my two boys whom I'm reading to... ;) ), is read already :)
Awesome! I remember seeing that book as a candidate, and then forgot about it - thanks for bringing it back to the candidate list (it may be a good follow-up to "Tom Sawyer"). :)
Adult in what way? The only thing I want to avoid is that the tone of the book gets much too introspective with themes that may, as someone else here said, "go over their heads".
I don't mind violence or even some sex/hints of sex (of course, I'm not reading the other Clive Barker books to them, that would be awkward,…
Voices? Is there any other way to read out loud? That's the best part of doing it! Although in the beginning is a bit distracting for them can't stop laughing. :)
Hey! Question: How much would you recommend these books for out-loud reading to kids (ages 9 and 10)? We're looking into options to read after we've finished "Tom Sawyer". We already read "The Hobbit", "The Thief of Always" and "Ender's Game".
That would justify my strange decision to keep on watching this piece of crap after Season 1.
Why would anybody with Internet pay for more than just Internet and phone?
Make it read i09 movie reviews (especially those "Marvel is great - DC sucks", or YA novels are the most important literary stuff in the universe)...
Although you brought an AWESOME song, "the" Halloween song is this one:
