1. I don't understand your self-reference to another post.

I know it won't happen, but I would love that you stop spreading hate towards this movie which is nothing but an ADAPTATION of a book that has NOTHING against homosexuality. Maybe you should start reading more and worrying less about what's on vogue (bashing homophobics, for example).

I'm sorry, they asked for "actors" who helped "science fiction".

If Gravity is 1% as shitty as this one, I'll pass.

Is it so hard to understand that this is the FIRST and in all possibility ONLY time that Superman kills a villain??? He killed him almost in the spur of the moment! He was cornered by Zod and I bet that anybody (yes, even him) wouldn't have much time to evaluate all his moral principles while holding in his arms a

Did Sir James Dewar started cooking meth after that?

I love/hate that the bar was raised infinitely high with BrBa. I don't really care for TV shows at all (rarely watch any), but this was like watching "The Godfather" in episodes. I guess I'll just bury myself in books again after the finale... (and maybe watch the whole series again every other year or so.

Bean. ;)

Where's the sign??

You are right in everything, specially the latter: I can't think of having a vacation without my kids (ages 9 to 16 as of today), so I rather make the effort of travelling with them now even if that means that I may have to limit my income in the future. They are kids only once in our lives, so I can't postpone that.

That's if you're single + no kids... which it would be like, why not spend all your travels when you're 20 with that 60%, while you don't have kids and are single, and THEN settle down and start saving?

At what point did this thread turned into a Breaking Bad discussion?

I just don't get how people watch shows from syndicated TV other than The Simpsons, Futurama, Family Guy and, in the old days, 24 and Twin Peaks.

Totally agree with your "latter". I was just pointing out what a lot of people do, which is to slave themselves towards retirement savings and not enjoying life at all when they're young(er). Sorry if I sounded like a crazy anarchist in my OP. ;)

Exactly, wouldn't it suck if you have to work all your adult life to find out in the end that you only have money left for a basic life? You should grab the bull by the horns, do what you REALLY want NOW and then use the rest of your life to sort the time between your old age and your death (which, by then, won't be

That sounds like a very good plan, if you have enough money, but I would still put my bucket list in front of my investments (of course, you can meet half way and do what you want to do when you're young now, and leave the other stuff for later, if there's enough return to still do it). What I mean is that I totally

Maybe I would make do with what I have and work a little just to complement that, BUT, whatever experience I want to have (travels, mostly) I would have made them for sure when I was strong enough to do it. Travelling while old just seems like a whole different thing, and not in a better way. I rather do what I don't

Why travel and enjoy life when you're old and full of aches? Why wait until maybe you won't even be able to enjoy life? I don't have debts right now, but I rather do all the "fun stuff" now and then work + save when I'm old and bored at life. The end is the same either way.

"Maybe, 20 years later, [the aliens are] never coming back... We've created a mythology around these aliens, which is really cool. You have to create a mythology because people want to see a bigger picture."
