That is HIS opinion and as anyone's it is to be respected... but I think it is a very moronic opinion. I am NOT a SW fan, but ESB is one of the best fantasy/sci-fi in my books, and one of the things that made it great was the cliffhanger (which was later paid off by the fabulous first few minutes of RotJ, and then

That's fair (sorry I missed the part where you claimed to be an atheist before), but then again, here I was (just like yourself) pointing out that your comment was blatantly wrong.

I take Spider-pope's side. I just don't find it worthwhile to discuss this with a believer like yourself (maybe that's what other non-believers feel too).

Don't worry, in a few years there will be a new word that will mean "figuratively" (like: "Say, yo, I fig almost had a heart attack, bitch!", and "literally" will fall back to its correct meaning.

"like the moment when your brakes lock
and you slide toward the big truck
and stretch the frozen moments with your fear
and you'll never hear their voices
and you'll never see their faces
you have no recourse to the law anymore
and as the windshield melts
my tears evaporate
leaving only charcoal to defend

Really? To me it makes me want to face-palm so hard that I would need one of those "ancient astronauts" helmets to avoid permanent damage.

"Pulled punches. Alien clichés, done badly. Characters with no purpose. And most of all, a story that seemed to be going nowhere."

No choice for TV, mostly. All TV is dubbed. Movies, I was grateful for VHS (I'm 40) and its only language track that forced, most of the time, the subtitles over the dubbing (I guess dubbing production for that many movies was out of the question, yay!).

The question of business is driven by the question of choice,

You got me at Cronenberg...

God (a.k.a. H.R.Giger) put it there...

Bon jour, fellow Canadian!

Well, well! Your reply convinced me that you are NOT a troll, and that an amiable conversation is possible after all, therefore I take back all my snaring comments about you, and I honestly thank you for making me look bad (in short: sorry about all that!).

I hope I'm not feeding a troll here...

OK, I said I wouldn't read your post, but now I did. I will ignore all the parts about your opinions on the Dark Knight trilogy because that's what they are: your opinions. I will also pass on the bait you set up by calling "How to Train Your Dragon" "as good as Pixar best movies"

"Watching European cinema doesn't really make you a more intelligent person."

Same here, but I got tired of the goofy feeling of most of the Marvel stories I found, so I turned to Batman and even Green Lantern (Blackest Night), and found my niche.

I don't know if my background of watching the same amount of good, serious, films (e.g., European cinema, subtitled, not dubbed), as good, fun films like these ones has me more excited over the DC Universe movies based on what just 4 movies (all the DK movies, plus the MoS), than in all the Marvel movies produced so

"So the laid-back, uneventful Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. pilot feels like a throwback." A polite way to say "It's boring."

It is better, but then again, almost anything is.. this is a boring remake of ANY haunted house movie.

OSC has a right to have and voice his opinion even if I don't agree with it. If we were to boycott everybody who has an idea that seems bad for somebody else, we would be watching paint dry instead of movies. I'll be sure to watch this in the most expensive way possible with the other 5 members of my non-homophobe

I'm an atheist and got the answer correct immediately.. I guess you have to be a Bible thumper or a complete atheist to get it right at first try.
