No, actually, she lost to Obama because Hoawrd Dean took away a lot of her votes.

That’s some spin ya got there. You take “I know how to compromise because that is how things get done” & turn it into defeatism to suit your own agenda. You should own up to that & not put it on Hillary Clinton.

SMH...

i think you are absolved of any attempt to preten to bean “Internet Tough Guy”. No one who wants to be that would “brag” about how slow, clumsy & rotten he ever was at boxing ;-)

The whole “Bats thing is relatively new. It always used to be Supes & WW awhile ago - the whole “equally supernaturally strong” thing.

There is always the chance you will slip & accidentally open your eyes, or the blindfold would fall off.

Funny how none of the men ever want to flaunt anything about themselves in a similar fashion.

Your charm & friendliness are underwhelming.

I’mexpecting a larger “factory” pool to win it - unless, of course, your “office pool” was more of a general term that would cover that, as well.

My son already told me that if we win, he really doesn’t want to move from our house. I kissed him, I was so happy! But he agreed that we could get a vacation home in Florida, so we’d have a perment address, & thereby be eligible for a yearly pass to Disneyworld. Gotta have priorities! But I realize that that, and a

I plan to run a charitable trust or two if I win the Powerball.

That IS sad! My greatest happiness comes from the fact that I have a husband who loves me for the “poor” person I was when we married. I pity any single person who wins this jackpot alone, because that person will NEVER KNOW if someone loves him/her for the money, or not.

It depends on how old you are. Younger people should take the annuity. Older people should take the lump sum - and invest it. Of course, younger people could invest, too, and live off the proceeds.

Bull. The “curse of the lottery: has been thoroughly debunked by simply studying WHO is unhappy afterwards - and who ISN’T. The ones who are venial, greedy & stupid end up blowing their cash & being unhappy. People who are more careful and think about what they are doing are happier in the end.

Except for when he went after a solidly clean-&-sober Robert Downey, Jr., as if the latter had only just stumbled out of a failed rehab. I found that to be disgusting, and, evidently, so did the management, because there was a cut to commercial break & a suddenly subdued Gervais continued the show with far less snarky

Yes, that’s exactly what I saw as well. He was even pointing way past her, before she ever got to him. And the raised eyebrows were obviously for the way she slammed into his arm.

WHY IS SHE NOT WONDER WOMAN????

ADDENDUM: Just got finished “talking” to Habro, who says that 6 & 12 inch “action figures” are coming later this month. Maybe they really mean action figures & not dolls, but I should think the 12” ones would work.

I wasn’t trying to say that that was the ONLY solution; I meant “until they get their act together.” Which, unfortunately, may make it the only solution. Of course you shouldn’t have to. And we should all complain until things are fixed. But, in the meantime, that’s the only suggestion I have.

Go to the thrift store & buy an old Belle doll, or a long-haired brunette Barbie & just use scraps to make the costume.
