I understand that sentiment. NSX owners talked about this a lot prior to the launch of a successor. I believe my firm opinion was that I hoped the car wouldn't be called an NSX, but then the alternatives were just so bad... HSC, ASC, Would have been cool if they could have figured out something good, but this NSX is a

I'm very excited for the new car- and that is coming from a guy with lots of NSX driving time. The concept of a halo car is to showcase technological advancement. I bet they packaged up some sweetness in this new buggy. I can't wait to get some seat time.

Ojas is a real nice guy. Met him back when I lived in Dallas, and a few other times at assorted NSXcentric events. Ask him about that time they hit a hail storm in NM on the way to NSXPO 05. I think that was his first NSX... Pics from that excursion made me cringe.

Make that 10 6-MT GXPs for sale- the Liquid Red near San Antonio (31k asking) is sold.

I loved it when that Supra turned up in Grandma's Boy

I really like it. I like the look of it, and lets face it- the Raptor is a show truck, not really a workhorse (although I accept that many people use them for working purposes). If Ford can get the performance out of the V6, and shave weight, then that seems like a winner. I'm a fan of whatever they choose so long as

It's a great car! I really did like it, but if I had wanted one I was severely limited in my choices

I looked at the SS with great interest, but it was too much cash, and there wasn't a lease program available, so I decided to go with a very nice low mileage 09' G8 GT for less than half that price instead. Similar car- the G8 is the Commodore VE, while the SS is the Commodore VF.

The front end on the G8 is better

the car is good, but people who want it can't buy it at that price point ($45k), so people who want it buy a nice, used G8 instead.

Ask me how I know...

Sometimes bad things happen. Hopefully for everyone (Dealership included) it gets resolved instead of further escalated. Bummer.

I was t having an argument. You were trying to say "torque fill isn't a thing" it absolutely is "a thing" and I explained that, quite well.

The NSX also uses its hybrid system for torque fill, like the McLaren P1. They say it has constant thrust, like a Tesla that doesn't top out. The engine and electric motors work together to keep torque constant, they call it an instant launch.

I think what he is saying, without saying it is that Nissan is focused on the working vehicle segment rather than the niche performance offroad segment.

how many "dynamics" in the reveal?

This happened less than a mile from my house. I drove by today. To give you an idea- Riverdale is a reasonably straight country lane with beautiful condition Tarmac. It's the kind of road you can hardly resist driving fast on.

Burnouts are not really great... $200+ a tire, there is no way I'm leaving any more rubber behind than I need to! My Car is fast, if you see my car and you don't already know it is a very fast car, then I don't give a crap what you think of my car anyway. I'm not going to piss away my $$$ to prove anything to you, let

I wonder which iteration of "get the f#ck out of my car!" she thought would be the most convincing?

Fat kids REJOICE!!!
