HBO just took the suggested homosexuality of Renly and made it YES Here he and Loras Are they Be Togethers! in a scene. Didn't take anything away/add anything to the story except for naked men flesh in a very HBO style. *shrug* Wasn't bad, wasn't memorable.

Does your reaction come with a prayer breakdown in the middle? If so, I'd rather see you react than this anime.

Heh, I'd believe it! My sister is married to a brit and now lives near London, and I enjoy the flirting there very much for very shallow reasons. (Or perhaps I am generally flirty!) what kind of British accent does he have?

Wait wait I'll bite - you don't take 51 percent of the world population 'seriously' - clarify that, please - because of women and men who believe women should be equal? (It really is all that word means. That's a really broad tent there.)

Eh, don't worry about it, many of us are still suckers for the accents. (Heyyyy, got any single scottish friends? *hands you playstations*)

I'd believe it! My local place actually did have a 2D version so we didn't have to deal with the specific horrors of 3D. There wasn't much marketing for it by its own merits, you're right, not as much as was deserved.

I am brain dead today, but I would like to chime in/agree with a "WHY DOESN'T THE NEW FRIGHT NIGHT GET MORE LOVE?" Man, that movie was a good time, some really enjoyable acting and scenes. Also: Colin Farell = hot. Even as a fucking shark. (maybe *especially* as a fucking shark?)

I swear, my attempts to promote in ways other than replying are thwarted. So: Promoted because I found this an interesting comment!

Eeeexcellent, please do please do!

Now, to repeat a theme I've started today because I don't have enough brain cells kickin' to be original, attraction is like music and comedy in how personal it is to each person.

Yesssss I am not surprised. Comedy is such a personal flavor for peeps, like music!

This is from a fan, but I truly don't think they do it to be assholes - it's just the way it's written and how the characters (and the actors!) interact seem to be the perfect breeding ground for endless meta-ness. But the spirit is silly and pranky, not pretentious and self-impressed.

Comic nerd brain poke: Isn't that the Invisibles guy, not Spider? I think this is pre-Transmetropolitan era art, if I remember correctly.

He's just simply adorable! I want a Danny Pudi for my very own.

Exactly that.

Why was Fright Night so underrated? It was awesome! David Tennant as Russell Brand but even better! Colin Ferrall was so deliciously menacing! (And just plain delicious) Good times all around!

True true (and I can't even read her books any more - what I used to love now rings rather silly, so this is 14 year old me talking) But! Lestat is *kick ass*. Louis is a whiny emo bundle of discontented hilarity, but Lestat was originally negative whiny.

I read all that as being very deeply sarcastic.

Can I ask you honestly: Have you ever been a persistent and substantially harmed victim of violence, rape, etc?
