Welcome! Just read the sex in the city article expecting something far more snarky, and it was actually just a really fun rundown of some New York visiting SATC fans. Cute! And really well written!

@Plum-Pie: That's an excellent point you have, right there. I've tried for a bit to ignore the various signs that Mr. Martin is a total git, as he's actually very charming in radio interviews, but...

@labeled: *snortles on her Pirate's Booty Popcorn at the 'devolving' comment*

@Mkp-hearts-nyc: I prefer me some Hrithik practicing swordplay half-naked a'la JA or some Dhoom 2 dirty dancing goodness... but to each their filmi hero! I can appreciate the SRK, howevers.

@citrus_buddha: Now I feel totallyrepetitive for the comment I just posted! Indeed, it really opened my eyes to the simplicity of her world view. (And generally made me think about my acceptance of certain anti-consumerist ideas just because they were radical up to that point.)

Well written, Megan!

I saw her perform a couple of weeks ago, and while this particular presentation is definitely the cheesiest of the show(well, except for a couple of unneeded interludes with cheesy dancing where she wasn't on stage), she was truly unfrackin' believable. All bad costuming was forgiven.

The response in general to Britney and her issues: Disturbing. She is a big story of DISTURB. But coulda guessed the worstie'd come from that conversation.

@rosasparks: No, I'm with you there, I think it's a lot of fun, and like Eeva, just a great shape.

@lambandlynx: Hmmm, while there are some fabulous ideas in this here thread about why this is progressive and why it might not be that are making me think, I really, truly don't think that pussy-gettin' faux-feminism is really his style. He has always held strong opinions on women and gender roles.

Heh, truthfully, I wish I could also be able to ask who they were... I am jellus of the Worstie writer!

Their positioning and the body part juxtaposition is making my eye-bits go all wonky trying to figure out who is where. They look like they were walking and were Pap-ambushed, all "Bloody hell, stupid flashbulbs" (Pattinson has sorta a wary "WTF." look goin' on)

@Sophie needs Sensodyne: Heh! I should probably yell it at myself during those days when I find my sarcasm creeping WAY upwards at my boss!

@ellaesther: I agree with that! His unique smart/funny mind, and the way he uses it, is what makes him adorable and sexy.

Poor Lily Allen... I always liked her a great deal, and she gets so much grief in the British tabloids. I didn't know she was having such a rough time of it.
