I filmed the race start on Saturday. Imagine what you see in the video x10. Much more visceral sound in person. Too bad whilst filming this video I discovered how useless a cheap DSLR is for filming :-(.

Excellent write up Travis! Fantasitc photography as well. I presume you saw the Lambo tent at the race? Felt like they brought a yacht from the Monaco GP to the paddock at VIR! Everything was top notch for this event, and it already felt very well established.

Awesome modern interpretation of the Z. I saw the influence before I even read the name. The front grill is a bit Korean, but the rest looks very good. Better than the current Z.

Yup, that along with the tires and armco are gone. You can hardly even see where the tree was at either.

Was sitting at the Oak Tree and just barley saw it go down (no pun intended). Was very hard figure what was happening but when they showed the crushed in roof reminiscent of Allan Simonsen's Aston Martin, everybody was holding their breath until the driver emerged totally unharmed. A miracle nobody was hurt. Especially the way the roof looked reminiscent of a crash in France earlier this year, it could have been much worse.
