This makes the design guys at Porsche look like huge risk takers.

Maybe the sheer mass of the guy’s nuts was what actually stopped the car.

Busts a nut, and goes right back to jacking.

Proposed: Recalls are dumb and don’t actually do much to keep humans from being killed by automobiles, at least in comparison to drunk driving and not wearing a seatbelt.

This article is like saying “Hey bud, remember that time your mom promised you two cookies, but you only got one?.. I heard she was considering giving you three cookies!”

Also that when we was drifting through consciousness, he spoke fluent French. I think it was during his interview with a previous gen F1 driver (Lauda IIRC).

Leaked email usually means someone angrily venting petty rage not someone giving a heartfelt farewell. This felt good to read.

Too many feels for a Monday. Thanks for all the great times Top Gear.

I suspect the quality of design would be notably higher if they did.

Or at least more creative...

The 3.4L Dual Cam engines have a decent track record (I have an employee with the same engine and an auto in a two door cutlass and over 250k). This also has the less problematic Getrag sourced 5 speed. The biggest weak point in the drivetrains was the automatics.

I have a slightly relevant story about the time a guy in High School broke a kids jaw and induced a seizure after his head hit the ground... because he cut him in line for lunch. The local news went crazy for that headline. An upstanding kid with good grades and won games pitching on the high school baseball team sent
