You know, it seems like each geographical/cultural area brings its own flavor to the automotive world. If you think of an American car, you might think of a finned ‘50s Cadillac. If you think of a Japanese car, you might think of a Toyota econobox. If you think of a German car, you might think of a stately Mercedes.

Transgender issues are a relatively new thing in terms of widespread public discourse. Of course it’s worthy of argument. Because otherwise you’re just saying, “this is how you should think, because I’m right and your way of thinking is old, outdated, and irrelevant.” That’s not going to convince many people.

Even as a liberal, my jimmies remain firmly unrustled by his statements. In fact, rather controversially in today’s political environment, I think his commentary is mostly fair once you subtract the typical Clarkson hyperbole.
/flamesuiton?

It would be hard to tell for sure now that very few cars still on the road came with only two brake lights. But I think the third brake light is still inherently valuable because at night, it’s the only brake light that goes from completely off to on. I notice this when I’m following our family’s ‘52 Buick Super.

I didn’t see him apexing every corner in the sense that he was in the other lane. On the white line and on the yellow line, yeah, but not actually in the other lane. In that case, if another car had been in his lane coming the other direction, it would be that car at fault, not him. Yes, speeding is dumb. But

Spotted this ‘62 Ferrari 250 GTE hanging out behind an upholstery shop. Kind of a rough-seeming location for it.

Granted, it was my cousin’s shop and his Ferrari. But still!

With the heat of that exhaust coming through the body onto my right arm, I’d think maybe the flames were just obscured from view by that large pipe. :D

I didn’t jump a flaming Suburban into a lake, but I did ride in a ‘21 Duesenberg race car at high speed while drag racing a Cord 812 on a runway.

*once in a while.

Was the driver of the pickup a zombie? Because I think I may know who’s behind this.

I see at least 3 damaged panels and a partially ripped off rear spoiler. Not quite “spared” but definitely impressive, especially considering it’s up off the ground like that. You’d think parts of the building would have damaged it even more.

Definitely Hammond. He was lucky to have survived that and had pretty serious brain injuries that he's had to work through. He says he barely remembers doing Season 9 now.

Proportionally, it would be more like saying "88 is almost 100mph." But I think the point is that 176 is ridiculously fast, and 176 might as well be 200 because both are ridiculously fast and well beyond a reasonable speed.

a '96 Grand Prix coupe was my first car and I've dailies it for 9 years now. I had that happen once, and yeah, that hurts! I think the one thing that has saved my sternum a bit is that the driver side door stops (where it will stay open in a position) have never worked. So the door's position is a little more

This generation didn't get the 3800 V6.

I'd have to disagree with you there. I don't know what car bryan40oop was talking about that has a heavy clutch, but the heaviest clutch I've driven was my Audi, and I drove it in bumper-to-bumper traffic at least once, on accident. It was pretty miserable. My automatic Grand Prix is far more enjoyable in that case.

It certainly has its redeeming factors, but I could never get over the looks. It's just too... derpy. And I would argue it just doesn't "work" here in America. Look at it in this picture I took when I first saw one in the wild. There it is amongst the sea of ordinary cars in an ordinary American parking lot. It stands

There's a huge difference between slowly drifting through an intersection in the snow and a smoky burnout on dry pavement. Things can go wrong much more quickly with the burnout. If something started to go wrong mid-drift here, he wouldn't have stayed on the throttle and probably could have stopped or at least missed

Rich Miller must really hate the Titan. I've only seen three actual responses (clicking his profile seems to only show one of those three responses) and each one is just PR BS.

It's a shame I can't share an article with this kind of headline though.
