At least it started to get things right by its final year of production. I just wish it would have gone further.

This is true, but I'd rather have an '88 Fiero GT than a well-sorted Prelude. My personal preference sways toward the crazier of the two I suppose.

It's a great car, but it's got nothing on the only mass-produced mid-engine American car. Two-seats, RWD, available with a manual, V6 (lack of) power, lightweight, small, surprisingly safe, pop-up headlights... what's not to like?

How is the Fiero not dominating the Prelude? Is this not Jalopnik, where obscurities such as America's first and only mass production mid-engine, RWD car, available with a V6 and manual, and with a curb weight under 3,000 lbs should be worshipped? The Prelude is a FWD Honda. Come on people, the answer is obvious.

Front plates are stupid.

But the Right to Freedom of Movement trumps physics! :P

Lol, now, don't get your panties in a twist. My response was sarcasm too. The point being that when you enter an airplane, you can't just exit without disrupting the entire proceedings. So yes, you effectively are the charge of the airline. That's not to say that the things in this article are excusable by any means.

So if you decide you need to suddenly exit the plane when you're cruising at 30,000 feet, you should be allowed to do so?

That is, if you believe that range will never increase. If we could get 400 miles on a charge, you'd deal with it as often as a gas pump. And that's not really an unattainable goal.

See the other comments. Safety has definitely improved since the old days, but they weren't the total death traps you might be lead to believe. Also the '59 Malibu wasn't a shining example of safety in its own day let alone in the present.

I suppose that does accurately explain why everyone who ever traveled anywhere in those cars when they were new all died horrible deaths.

Because it's mounted the wrong way, I want to swap one into an '88 Pontiac Fiero GT.

Hey Mr. Seinfeld!

We're not worthy. But since you're here and you're a well-known Porsche aficionado, I have to ask, what is your least favorite Porsche of all time?

Not that I am in the position to buy anyway, but I was excited when they brought the old Targa look back and I thought they'd keep the panel manually removable like the old ones. This is just stupid though. I'd just get the normal coupe rather than being seen with this crazy robot thing attacking my car in a parking

It looks very awesome. Almost a completely different car compared to the sedan in my eyes.

Lol, seriously? If you have a car that is so precious that you can't even brush the snow off it, what are you doing driving it in the winter at all?

My car is 18 years old. I've owned it for 8 of those years and have always brushed the snow off every inch of it. I'm certain the previous owner did mostly the same. Paint

The lug bolts? They were there intentionally, haha.

Yeah, I mean... I'm no fan either, but the dude's Miata got bashed in. Not exactly a "you deserved it" moment, fashion faux pas aside.

My Audi has taught me many things this past year.

Am I missing something? Is this guy hated on oppo? Is he a serial killer?
