Tops, we get a foot at a time, so not that much. and even up to that it's not that hard to pull off if you've got decent upper body strength.

Why not keep it in the house?
Check tire pressure and put a car-cover on. Seriously, save yourself the time of dusting the bitch off, scraping, all that mess and just buy a cover. Much quicker, and it's not that hard to find the factory cover for anything less than ten years old.
A fine and glorious bounty if there ever was one!
The IT/computer people I know drive a 5th-gen Eclipse GT, an EP3 Civic Si, and a Golf TDI, so I'm guessing semi-practical with some fun involved?
Didn't they actually sell one of those?
Not arguing against you, but GM still builds the Commodore and Ford still builds the Falcon, just not for US consumption. A shame that they're not here, but they do exist.
Swap off the bumpers and hood scoop, pull the wing, and paint the whole thing black, and you've got a nice little rocket that can sleep all day for five grand. Not a bad deal, actually. I'm going with a NP
+1
Eh, that's pretty much a big block for that car.
Do you have any idea who you are speaking to, young fellow?
Well, if we're dead honest, a restoration is a money pit and probably impossible, so how about a restomod?
I'd be willing to steer people towards that sort of car.
The last five series felt cramped to me, merely because of how big it was. For such a gigantic car, it should have had at least as much interior space as my Accord. Of course, it was comparably nice inside, too, though slightly richer.
I believe the quote goes "The perversion is entirely in Mrs. Bush's mind!"
Normally Diablos do nothing for me, but this one isn't that bad, in some subdued colors. Still doesn't tickle me, but at least it doesn't offend.
Yep, me gusta. There's little detail niggles for me personally, but I'd be a buyer for the right options and price, etc etc.
Eh, the internals are different on the Vortec series so you'd have to do some work to get to that level of performance. Not that it can't be done, but the cost of cams could run you close to a crate swap.
I hate to say the answer everybody's thinking of, but Miata. The NA models had nine-second runs to get to sixty; not quick in a straight line, at all. That being said, they are, as we all know, great in the twisties, and that's what really matters.
Needs moar turbo-diesel, not jalop enough.
