KERS would like to talk to you.

You're the kind of guy that doesn't have a girlfriend, I take it.

And that's why you're easy to troll.

Well, I'm guessing after import and registration it would be 16-18k USD, if it could be brought legally (I'm guessing no). That's noticeably cheaper than any other off-road offering in the US, but not exactly a shave from a used Jeep. Then again, I might trust Russian mechanicals more than Chrysler ones.

For 11k? Yeah, I'd buy one in a heartbeat. Give me the optional snow-plow and hopefully a few aftermarket upgrades, and boom, we're all set.

Eh, what the fuck, I'd plop 5k down for it. If I change my mind, nothing a new front clip can't fix.

Ha, got a AOTD! Time to count my cards and brag incessantly, or something.

The best way to avoid driving distracted (which, in my mind, is the same as driving drunk) is to let go of your giant ego and accept that nobody actually needs to talk to you over that twenty-minute drive to your mid-grade job. If it's abs-fucking-lutely necessary, pull over and answer it; ten to one you'll need to

They're so bad, they make apartheid look civil!

Save the M30s for building up classic BMWs, and instead use an M10 from an E36; nobody really wants them, and I'm sure there are plenty of smashed 318s at your local junkyard. Sure, it's not a sixer, but the design is similar enough, and the mechanical beauty is still there.

Not a bad choice, but if I could get my hands on a R90S I'd probably have to bolt it into something, out of sheer compulsion.

E30 depends on which motor, and the 7-series does hugely too. 7-series probably has a Nikasil motor I'd bet, and he hasn't taken it to the dealer to have it swapped out.

"Happy Halloween!"

God damn that was good.

"The Skoda 130LR, new in Romania! Presented by Vanilla Ice!"

Cost-cutting, though they made it purposely so they could graft DI onto it without much work.

Not really, no, they must have heavily abused their motors. The M30-series is honestly the most durable engine, ever. It's not uncommon to see them walk well past 300k without much ado save proper maintenance, which is about the same as any other motor. The Nikasil motors had issues, obviously, and the E36 had clutch

Rattle-cans will save you a bit of time, and if you're willing to prep the whole car, it will actually stay on. I used Rustoleum on my Lumina about three years ago, and asides a few stone chips, it's still intact. Took a few coats to get it good (I initially didn't account for overlap, I was new at it), but the

Yeah, but Dodge has had a lot riding on damn near everything they've built since 1980, and look what we've gotten.

Poor little C6, you never signed up for that kind of abuse. Used to be that a Corvette would enjoy some touring, some professional driving, autocross and such. Nowadays, anybody who makes more than minimum wage can swing one if they get enough payments, and sadly, everybody buys the machine that can spank damn near
