I might apply, but I barely have any of the bits from the second list (I could get to NYC occasionally, but it would be a rare instance as I'd need to take the train in.). I'll throw an application in later if I can figure it into my schedule.

Yes, but can it stop bullets?
So, essentially we have high-precision beams that are (through reflectors/refractors I assume) being split into multiple beams to eventually become a solid wall of light? Because color me snaggledorfed, but are lasers not pinpoint assemblies by nature?
Well, it's a Jeep, and jeep is currently owned by Chrysler.
But all you need to do is get into a fender bender there to set off a Hindenburg-level explosion on the freeway anyway, why bother making it riskier?
Exactly; no harm done.
I keep forgetting these are rare; there are at least two (I'm pretty sure three) in my local area that show up to cruise nights. Maybe one's a replica or something, but they barely register on my radar anymore, which is a shame.
Eh, they're probably both sixers. No real harm done.
As long as APR starts messing with it relatively quickly, and that PDK can take some extra power, It'll be alright. V10s are epic, but V8s can be awesome, especially when boosted from the factory.
Well done, old boy.
Porsches are like wine; they need to be properly aged, have a well-designed process, and a titanium valvetrain.
I'm pretty sure those are literally Acura headlights, and that grille is pure Civic. Though I shouldn't expect less from the focus-group car.
That must have hurt like a Mofo.
Alright, let's assume they move smartly and use a Corvette chassis or something similarly sporty, and pair it with a good motor and transmission. If it doesn't cost a piss-load of money, I'd be interested. I'd probably just get a Morgan anyway (if i was in the market), but I'd be interested.
Agreed, for a 'reproduction' it's not that bad.
Dang, 185k? Don't get me wrong, it's cool, but it's not that cool.
But dude, they've got spoilers! That adds at least twenty horsepower!
It would be a fun job; all those resources, and all those lovely cars that could be resurrected in the process, too.
Why thank you!
Toyota could learn a thing or two from looking that thing over right now. Mainly because this wasn't a special-edition, specialty-build car; it was a hot Corolla.
