I honestly don't mind the filler. I didn't leave the Hinterlands until I had nothing left to do but unlock doors and slay the Fereldan Frostback. I enjoyed every minute of it, mostly from just exploring the area and finding cool little things :D

But it's still no GameCube.

I've played through to G-Ranks single player on Monster Hunter. I don't know what FORCES you to play co-op, though I will say it is more fun and challenging since the monsters become harder.

Nier deletes your save file after you get the true ending. Dungeons of Dredmor deletes your save on Hardcore.
