I agree that it ended up being a good episode, even though I was worried for a while the show would slowly take a dive. The main problem for me is: it has too many villains and most of them are cardboard. I was hoping for Monroe to be less of a jerk, but all he ever does is talking menacingly. Bringing Vader back is not the problem. Only making him the villain again would be. Because that would REALLY torpedo the original story arc and all the themes. They're not gonna do that.

Sometimes I wonder if maybe it was a blessing they didn't get more episodes than they had. I don't think they would have kept that high quality level over several seasons.

That's excellent news. LMS is one of the best films of recent years.

It's great spy thriller and in the end a good Bond film. But not more. Let me explain why my praise will end up being somewhat limited:
