Looks like we dodged a bullet there.

aww, I was hoping to get a peek at the "minge" tattoo on her foot. love the hair, though.
So, before I start cheering for one of them...which one is the Republican?
I dunno about this Japan storyline. If there's one thing I liked about the Wolverine film, and I didn't even find it that bad, it was how many superhero/villain characters showed up. Just having to fight Yakuza with guns and swords sounds boring to me.
I still think the Aliens vs. Predator has sooo much more potential than what those two films made of it. Sad.
I still don't like that the Torch is now Cap, but the pic is pretty good. Plus I think he's a much better actor than most give him credit for (see Sunshine).
@LusipherPE: I dunno, each time I look here it gets lambasted quite a lot actually.
JK Simmons as JJJ was probably one of the best casting decisions I've ever seen. One of the reasons I yet have to conjure up the least bit of excitement about the reboot.
Ugh all the haters again...Who went and watched this movie so often, then? It couldn't have been just me.
"Single-day"?? How the heck do they get away with selling such short games for the same prize as others with 50+ gaming hours?? It's my main reason not to buy, to be honest. And I am the biggest SW fanboy you can imagine.
How can SLJ's Fury show up in 1942?
Since I am a sucker for happy endings (after a lot of bad things are going down first, of course), the found footage genre is not for me.
The 8 minute clip was oddly fascinating. So many great names in this! Too bad I probably won't ever have the patience to watch it all on youtube, but I am slightly intrigued, although the result is probably crap.
@newcombe.rob: I entirely agree. Who is this man to preach to us whether we are allowed to enjoy violence in films or not?
Since I am one of those people who "defended" the twist in the other thread against the claim of it being a supernatural event within the film, let me just get this straight: I merely explained it, not defended. I find it as silly, preachy and stupid as they come. I was just trying to say that it's Haneke's way of…
@Alasdair Wilkins: True, forgot about Dogville. That was decent.
@LordChristo: You're taking it too much as face value. It's not really part of the film, it's like a break to fix the direction the movie would have taken towards a more normal and pleasing viewing experience. At least I am pretty sure that's how the director would explain it.
@Charlie Jane Anders: Because it was director Haneke's point to show the whole violence and bad ending as realistic and inevitable without movie magic, small victories or even a happy ending for the victims.
Wait, what supernatural powers did the guys in Funny Games have? I only watched the original, and hated it, but now I wonder where this comes from?
What's not to love?
