Actually anal paps are done without a speculum. Though an endoscope for colonoscopy is about the same size.

Having diagnosed pregnancy in over a dozen virgins (one of whom was in her third trimester when I ultrasounded her) I feel comfortable in saying that occasionally women lie about their sexual activity - especially when the truth is inconvenient.

There are no legal requirements. However if you prescribe something and don't see the person at least every 12 months and anything goes wrong, you are up the proverbial shits creek sans paddle.

Depending on what you are taking, it may be cheaper for you to pay out of pocket for your BCPs. As an example, Wal-Mart has Sprintec for $9/pack. Call pharmacies and price check. You will be surprised how much different things cost when you try different drug stores.

If you think you make money doing pap smears you are a couple french fries short of a happy meal. The visit is compensated poorly, and the need for extra help in the office to track down and follow up abnormals is disproportionately costly. And I do a crapload of paps and I have never once made a single dime from it.

If you hover over "Shop" and then click DPRK Souvenir from the menu, it takes you to a Cafe Press store: [www.cafepress.com]

I for one am one gay Disney fan who supports FFA's plans to fly the banners. If I was going this year I might consider making a donation.

"The food gets cooked, covered with a steam cover (forget about toast) and then rolled around the hospital for up to about an hour and a half before it gets to your room."

Drying out frats may help, but if you really want to cut down on under-age drinking, Universities need to have a real and enforced policy on drinking. One episode of underage drinking and you get academic probation. Repeat that and you are expelled. Period.

1) The food served to patients in hospitals should be as good as possible and fitting to the individual patient's needs. So if you are a diabetic, a bannana split should probably not end up on your tray.

Got some bad news for you, Ladies. My gaydar goes haywire whenever he's mentioned.

Uh... the International Olympic Committee already allows it. As does the US NCAA. There are a lot of professional and amateur sports organizations that definitely have a space for transgender athletes.

Actually since she started transitioning as a younger teen, what you see is likely mostly natural. The surgeries that transwomen need to undergo (with the exception of vaginoplasty) are aimed at 'undoing' male puberty. If you prevent male puberty, they can be unnecessary. And last I heard, whipping out the vajayjay

Actually Munchausens is in some ways similar to having borderline personality disorder. You are desperate for care and attention from others and when you cannot get it you resort to extreme behaviors like this. Its like being an emotional hemophiliac.

I work as an ER physician in a town with a moderate size state school with a moderate size greek system.

"A lot of that may have to do with the way the mind influences physical reactions, which is why I don't wholly diss Homeopathy."

For the same reason that people trust me as a physician for their children. I'm gay, but I'm not a pedophile.

OMG. I would TOTALLY give money for this. Unlike the Westboro Baptist Church who are bunch of fameballs, the anti-choice nutters would really be hampered by this.

I think I can pretty much speak for the entire gay men's community: if this dislike of the BJ is a true phenomenon it is an entirely heterosexual one.

The biggest reason for this is the need for data. If you don't have good quality data about numbers of LGBT students in a population you don't get funding.
