I wonder what the weight to lift ratio would be if you tried to turn a ride-on into a hovercraft?

I used to work at Thruxton Circuit, UK and everything was hooned. From the race cars to the lawnmower, and everything in between. I've driven round the circuit flat chat on/in some crazy vehicles. It's interesting to feel the handling characteristics of a wide collection of vehicles.

Roads are for getting from A to B.

The joy of Japanese cars is in the infinate ability to trick them up. I've got a Mk1 MX-5 that looks standard (except the wheels) but underneath I've got a race suspension, engine, gearbox etc. I use her on track and the road. We get alot of visually stunning cars here too, but I don't like driving round in a big

I'm surprised you don't get the HSV, we have it badged as a Vauxhall VXR. And also get alot of grey imports from Japan, the UK is where old Tokyo Drift come to die.

They are a fantastic little pocket rocket, a friend rallies one and he let me have a go on track. Sticks like glue and turns on a dime !

Didn't mean to sound like I thought that, driving anything at the limit takes skill and enjoyment in equal measure. :)

I started racing in Drag Cars/Bikes and still love going in a straight line, then I progressed to twisty bits and still love that.

I was going to say they're hard to find, but this turned up on Gumtree first search. Although a left hooker may be a bit more difficult.

Brilliant, I truly hope the Leguna Seca owners commission you to build it.

Do they ever come up on the second hand market?

It happens mostly when the lorry is driving on the "wrong" side of the road for the driving position. They tend to be older lorries, which have crap sound insulation of the engine under the floor. And tired drivers.

I'd buy it for $3000, but the parts over here would prohibitive.

It handles like a pig, and won't stop.
