thats my issue, people are not grasping that. EA can make money however they want. I'm just tired of that kinda shit. Anytime I try and boot up a gaming client or console.

Ya it would, its a drop in the ocean at this point. But I remember my Xbox, I had XBL and even DLC for games I owned...the XB never harassed me on the dash and the games simply had a store. It didn't have to devolve into this clusterfuck of a mess. Hell the org xb360 dash wasn't even a mess of shit you were tying to

So would I, I would rather do it though without being subjected to this crap.

I am well aware it is none of those things listed. And I'm well aware that nothing extra is being charged for, but its just one more thing that makes up this environment every time you want to boot up a game.

This isnt a product, this is a service. Anyways im getting very off topic. I dont care how many services and products these companies make, just like I didnt care how many games Nintendo published for the NES.

What I do care about is shit like this anytime I try to play a game.

As I said before, the cost could be a dime and my point wouldnt change. It has nothing to do with the deal it has to do with the constant spam of "offers" and ways to pay to enhance what we already paid for (in this case the XBO) we are constantly subjected to.

Yay options! everyone like options, no matter how much they harass you.

I get they are in the business to make money. That goes without saying, but as I said EA is hardly strapped for cash. Do they not have enough money at this point where they just sell you their product, you buy it and they make a steady income? Of course they do. But its never enough. Sims 3 is another wonderful

It has nothing to do with how big of a deal it is, it could be a dime and my point wouldn't change, that being im tired of these companies doing everything they can and spamming you with all these offers for shit anytime I wanna do something as simple as play a game.

Where did I say these were competing services? I'm not comparing anything, I'm listing the various crap these devs and publishes are constantly harassing you about to put out more cash out for beyond the initial purchase of the product in question. Want that $400 XBO? sure, oh, you wanna play BF4 sure thats another

Ya cause EA was just strapped for cash. amirite?

I'm well aware its an option, But just like you hate platinum I hate all these optional things you can throw money at, there is a tipping point where all these affordable services become an extremely expensive lump of cash, and they are doing this knowing you dont have the time to fully utilize something, I highly

Thats your business I dont mind paying for my products. Oh, oh I see, you were putting words in my mouth. Okay there.

I've been cool with EA for a while, but ever now and then they go and do something like this or Dungeon Keeper that just makes me shake my head.

Eh I'm just sick of publishers trying to get every penny from your god damn wallet these days, incredibly sick of it.

XBL, PSN, DLC, Preorder Bonuses, EA access, COD Elite, BF Platinum, "Free" Games, "Collectors" Editions, yearly updates that are mostly a copy and paste job from a previous iteration in the series. .

Oh how I love the modern day age to be a gamer, trying to extract every penny from your customers at any visible opportunity.

Those photoshopped LFA pictures are making my eyes bleed.

Ive heard 2 accounts of game testing, one was in an EGM about testing at rockstar, they would say they would do absurd things like throw a ps2 in a freezer overnight just to see if games would still work, and my friends who were very computer tech focused in high school who said game testing is full of just running

Never played DS, why the hell are some guys popping out of boxes.

k so from what ive seen this 16 min void boils down to two major points as to why the sonic games are bad/not so good (not the concept of sonic, or the reason he exists, the actual games themselves) 1) the speed is simply to fast for the player to react in time when threads appear on screen.

2) the maze like level
