...and Orion beat me to the punch, and far more polished at that.

Had the same idea! But you did it better.

This just seemed too easy not to try...

Exactly.

Where does the quote say that male characters don't show a range of emotion? I think the comment was about keeping the character pretty and on model while going through a range of emotions. And having two similar looking characters display the same emotion in a different way.

As a fellow animator I have no idea... I think it's mainly the comment about having to keep them pretty and the misinterpretation of the comment about the sensitivity of the rigs. Also people don't realize the difference between animating and character design.

He's a supervising animator, it's a executive position but he's still (was maybe...) an animator. He understand the work involved.

Misread, clicked the link to add Dominus, oh well sad it's over, poor Dominus will never get any respect....

Dominus

Filicide is a pretty gender neutral (which is a anomaly in murders). But your right in thinking that it's a husbands sense of entitlement towards their wives that is the problem in these cases. Both mothers and fathers seem equally capable of feeling entitled to taking the lives of their children.

This study seems to only take into account situation where the spouse is killed along with the children.

It's very rare to see non-white serial killers in the news, but statistics show that there is very little difference between the breakdown of race in the US and the race of serial killers.

Indeed, but everything I have read about US Filicide rates seem to cast it a very gender neutral crime. So I imagine these statistics refer specifically to familicide.

It seems that the situation Yanb is describing is not represented in the study, which seems (there is very little to go by in the article linked) to account for only those cases where the spouse AND child / children are killed. Infanticide / Filicide is still one of the most gender neutral crimes out there.

I believe this study is only of people who killed both their spouse and children. Infanticide / Filicide alone does not seem to be counted in the study.

This is speaking about Familicide only and not Filicide / Infanticide right? So only cases where the children AND spouses were murdered?

I always loved this song but I never knew his name, thanks for the info.

Thanks for the great song and as for your question: tribalism.

King's Bounty is a great Heroes of Might and Magic style game without the city building. I can recommend it enough for the price.
