Same. They accept them nation wide since last year.

Can you wash your hands in water that is hot enough to sanitize them? I think that would scald you.
It’s easy to make this judgement call when you work in an air conditioned office. I don’t like judging peoples clothing choices. This gave us arcane rules where women couldn’t wear pants or other clothing for whatever reasons they came up with. If women can wear a skirt and a sleeveless top that covers their…
We discovered the same thing with our chihuahua. She wasn’t the worst dog to bathe, but definitely didn’t like it and would shake/try to slowly exit the tub. One day I was in the shower and I jokingly said to my wife “put her in the shower with me, she needs a bath anyway”. She did and to our surprise she didn’t…
Dont forget to mention:

I’m not sure if they still use AX-15s for a core, but they used to rebuild them in Jeeps with Supra parts and make an AX-15 Terminator. Transmission/Transfer case/drive shafts adds to motor swap complexity, so some would upgrade…
I have a 1998 TJ Sport (not rubicon) with a factory Dana 44.
I started reading this article with deja vu as I remember the Car and Driver article. I was thinking this was in Car and Driver a couple years ago....or 7. #gettingold.
Cat got lethargic and then a growth showed up on its neck the size of half a tennis ball. Bring to Vet and they decide it’s from getting scratched (it was an indoor only cat) and pop/remove abscess. Cat comes home looking like it had a huge bite out of its neck. Next day pukes out a needle and thread that was…
The AX-15 shares design/parts with the R154 found in the Supra. I didn’t see if it said it was a D35 or D44 rear.
1. When I was in middle school, we moved and got a new phone number. Come to find out it was an old fax number. We’d get calls 24 hours a day that were faxes. Called phone company and they blocked a few, but they kept coming. We called one of them back and got the business. Told them they were faxing a…
It’s hard to justify the return on investment and complexity for hybrids, given school buses don’t run all day and not all year around. It would make more sense to move to fully electric/solar from diesel once the technology becomes viable for large vehicles.
This sounds like the technology Nimble Storage (recently purchased by HP Enterprise) uses. They use this technology to get a spinning disk array to perform like faster storage for less money. They use a basic chassis with a addon module with memory/battery, so it wont lose data in the event of a power outage.
Agreed, especially at lower speeds. I find that in a manual I keep the car in 1st gear in parking lots. It prevents me from getting fixated on where I want to go and not watching my speed. Same goes for keeping it in 2nd gear for neighborhoods. Alternatively, if it’s a higher speed area I find myself rowing…
They need to word that better. I read it as $1 adds 40 minutes, $1.25 adds 5 minutes. So you pay $2.25 for 45 minutes or $2 for 80 minutes.
Where are they saving money?
Yellow 1999 Volkswagen Beetle. Cup holders that you couldn’t use, because they were under the dashboard and you could only get a 12oz can in them height wise. The rest of the cup holders were broken, because they were removable for some reason. AC didn’t work, bald tires, some knucklehead cross threaded nut on the…
My cheap hoodies the zippers get messed up easily. With my high quality hoodies the zipper has outlasted the hoodies. I like to wear them while working outside and I wore them a lot when I worked in telecom.

These are more flexible than jackets for working/being active therefore I don’t consider them jackets. When you work outside and work up a sweat in the cold it’s not good. With these you can unzip them to cool down. Which can’t be done easily with a normal hoodie if you have safety gear on (gloves, safety glasses,…

I prefer zippers vs pullovers as you can adjust the temperature by pulling the zipper down. Instead of pulling it off and wrapping it around your waist for style and other reasons. They’re also easier to access inside pockets and other things in your under layers. When you’re working outside and have safety glasses,…

Another trick: An old co-worker plus wife were renting a car to drive to a bigger airport 150 miles away. They get there to pick up the car and they’re REALLY pushing for them to get a SUV or mini-van for X amount of money. Tells them no-no-no, don’t need the extra space for 2.5 hour drive. Finally gets down to it…
