Not in this case.
A slight correction ... red wines more accurately get more 'brown' as they age, although the starting point does depend on the varietal.
Don't forget 'spit', especially if you're doing a lot of tastings. You do get much worse at evaluating wine even when spitting after 30 or 40 samples, even when spitting as the alcohol is still absorbed through your cheeks.
Swype is available for tablets ... just sign up for a Swype beta account.
I think it was an even larger limit before. I seem to remember requesting 200 on one domain.
On Android, set up the connection to Windows as an ad-hoc network, and use SAMBA (Windows share) to make the file visible to Android (Astro file manager with the SMB extension will allow you to connect to the shares).
As someone else here mentioned, downloading it directly will pop up the option to in stall an APK. Transferring through DropBox or something similar is a quick way that doesn't involve a USB connection as well.
Completely agree here. They also reduce the ambient volume so you don't need to have the volume so high. I have some JVCs like this that I actually find reduce the noise in my workshop enough to be used as ear protection.
Pretty much everybody but Apple include strain reliefs on their cables. Apple seems to think it ruins the look (or likes them getting damaged more quickly).
So, this many years later and you still need to 'jailbreak' your device to make the home screen look like you wish? Stop giving them money until you you can actually control your own device.
Google Music only works in the US.
I run an XMPP2 server under Linux, and control it with Remuco under Android (not in the store). It can also control Rhythmbox, Amarok, etc. If you want something a littl simpler, there is a VLC remote in the Google marketplace, and VLC runs on pretty much any platform.
As far as I can see, the only attraction seems to be the looks; the feel is terrible (in my opinion obviously). Unfortunately there is a very large "It's Apple so it must be the best" contingent.
I recently picked one up for work as well. The feel is great, and my cow-orkers don't seem too disturbed by the clicking ... it's quieter than I expected it to be.
I find that most people who are not familiar with Windows actually find Linux easier to use (Gnome-shell or Gnome 2, not unity).
I gave Unity a shot after setting up my girlfriend's machine with 12.04 (finally got to upgrade her from 10.10 after security updates ran out). I kept having to poke around to find things, and found it was quite slow. I've made my peace and settled on Gnome-Shell fro the most part, not that they have the extensions to…
@Steve Hall @mullse01: I'd start with abuse of the patent system, the arrogance to use police as a private military, extending open protocols with proprietary extensions to lock people to their platform (FaceTime/XMPP, ePub, airPlay), eschewing standard connectors for proprietary ones, blocking company's software from…
The downside is that it's rewarding one of the most poorly behaved companies on the planet. I like their hardware (MacBook Pro & Air, etc) but won't buy anything from them because of their behaviour. I wish more people would do the same.
I'm not sure if it qualifies, but I like [Jamendo.com] as gives real artists a chance and it does not give money to the RIAA. Lots off good music you'll have never heard before too.
