tl;dr - they were all gay.

They’re action rpgs. Competitive action rpgs.

I'm just going to continue to play competitive multiplayer FPS, RTS, MOBAs, and fighting games on PC. On Steam. Which has big picture mode. And most PC games work with the 360 controller that I have now; mouse aiming is better. And mods.

The real world is about adaptation. Nintendo was never going to live forever making the snes over and over with better graphics and new controllers. I moved on from Nintendo after the Wii. All you need is proper teaching & training options in hardcore games & Nintendo is done.

>Realizing I hated how grindy it was and leaving :v I prefer less grindy games. Nothing against WoW-lovers.

OH GOD YES

subscriptions for mmorpgs always seemed overpriced to me. Pay tons extra to jog around and sort through menus? I'd rather pay a single, low total up front for a game with actual gameplay

I thought the wrist-slitting was for elitist jerks insulting you

The point is being able to sit on your couch across the room from the screen that the game is being displayed on.

Keyboard and Mouse don't cut it. Valve seems to have created the best controller currently available with a VERY SMART focus on precision.

Call of Duty is the only FPS series to use CORRECT joystick aiming. Set the sensitivity to 10, get use to it, enjoy mouse-level aiming. Every other FPS that allows joystick aiming ALWAYS has too low sensitivities available, has some weird two-stage system wherein your view suddenly turns fast when the joystick is

Losing always feels bad. It always matters. You may have the occasional mental/emotional equivalent of a bodybuilder whom isn't affected by loss or insults, but the majority of people are casual, weak-minded people who actually need a chance to feel better.

P.S. No, being weak-minded isn't terrible. Just like being

extra points for remembering the existence of medabots.

This is what a "thick skin" is for... it keeps you from giving into abusive assholes. I always notice a comparison between action rpg enemies and being yelled at with orders... If you have tons of health and durability with a little bit of recovery, you can at least retreat and survive. It's the all-offense focus

Elitism is a sickness spread all across gamer culture. The unwillingness to help others and selfishness about one's own accomplishments needs to end.

you can still download and play games that disappear from the store. I still have games on my Steam list that are no longer in the store; I can redownload them too. This game is unreleased, so it's iffy... but I'd expect it to be playable on the proper release date still. Steam just has its way of giving you

Adult gamers do exist. Thank you The Witcher and God of War series' for recognizing this. Also, Mass Effect. No, we DON'T want EVERYONE to play ALL of "our games". What we want is a fair amount of games that are kid-safe and a fair amount that are adult-oriented and don't insult our intelligence. Please be as

I'm a chaser. And a nerd. Other nerds are more enjoyable to talk to. The chubby ones also seem very attractive to me. Suffice to say that chubby guys don't have a dead sex life. I'm skinny myself. There are plenty of male and female chasers out there. Also, chubs with chubs. So stop with this stereotype

So true. Our only hope is to get away from publishers. Kickstarter is the only alternative that I've seen, it's not much.

This year? Have you seen competitive multiplayer game communities over the past 2 decades? It's never stopped. Rampant elitism and hatred. People throwing fits over the game. Selfish pieces of shit that only care about winning. Where is the care and teamwork? Games need to focus more on encouraging that. Good
