The funny thing is that in COD, you generally have to show you can excel at a certain task without the aid before you can get it (e.g. you must get kills with the iron sight before you get optic sights, you must get hipfire kills before you get a laser) so it’s a slightly justified version of gating
I was going to say the same. That was a deliberate positioning choice
GET ON HIS (POWER) LEVEL
The mines didn’t change my opinion of Emily because the mines didn’t reveal anything about her that wasn’t already shown. It was great seeing her survive, but she never gets a chance to be nicer to people and I already saw that the girl has her head on straight because of why she went to the fire tower in the first…
*cough* SANITORIUM *cough*
“Not-Claire”
Dead
This game is literally the reason I bought a PS4
“the most capable and clever”-Clever, yes. Most capable, no. She doesn’t do anything that Mike, Chris or Matt didn’t do in regards to facing the wendigos. The place where she shines is her brilliant idea to contact authorities for help.
“Jess gets a big showy reveal of her vulnerability but Em doesn’t need one”- I’d…
“Hello, Crimestoppers? Please send help, I just witnessed a murder”
“YO, GAME INDUSTRY, WHERE’S THE BEEF!? *howls, wailing and impassioned pleas of ravenous, starved female gamer population rise up in the background” -Rachel Fogg, 2015
I think Gamestop is an acquired taste (and not in a “if you don’t like it, acquire some taste” kinda way). Once you know what you can (and can’t) get from them and temper your expectations (and plans) accordingly, everything is peachy keen.
Soraka, you are being mean and unreasonable. Such behavior is not becoming of a Starchild.
Reminds me of Third Strike where Sean shoots a J and smacks people in the face with the basketball
To quote Stephen Lynch: “what does that shit mean?”
Misanthropy seems to be a comedy staple
That’s what I assumed. I assumed that there already is a sandbox mode, but that it’s an inhouse dev tool and they don’t have the resources to build a client friendly version in an effecient amount of time right now
What about those who bought digital copies?
