You couldn’t just Passat up...
I received one of the VW letters and while yours is definitely better, the surprising part for me was that I only received two letters from lawyers before I received the one from VW.
I’m glad to see a couple of Quaker Steak and Lube stories. I grew up close to the original in Sharon, PA and it was a favorite on all-you-can-eat wing night for high school students. There were a few football players that would consistently eat over 100 wings when we’d go. The key was that the first basket they bring…
As a 2014 Passat TDI owner, I wouldn’t take anything short of a buy back. And yeah, I’m not doing the update for poor performance and increased maintenance costs/frequency, if that’s the other option. We’ll see how this plays out.
I think it was mentioned in another thread when the Apple Lease was announced, but I think you’re qualifying for a bank loan with their plan. That’s an important detail for anyone considering the Apple Lease and how it could affect their credit.
It would be the same because the rear wheels still wouldn’t move. Unless, they had some kind of gearing that linked the front and rear dyno rollers, causing them to spin at the same speed regardless of which wheels are being powered. Though, I think that would be a problem with actual AWD vehicles that dynamically…
Fortunately, I grew up on the Ohio border. 5 miles to a gas station and you could buy your poison of choice.
I’m disappointed that no one suggested “checking” his tire pressure with a non-digital tire gauge. Or are we past that? I still think it would work.
That one’s actually not bad. I was behind some idiot with a modified one last week in the drive thru and it sounded horrible. Couple that with the fact that he revved it up just to move 5 feet, pretty annoying.
More like baby seals and clubs to the skull and this guy, grill to his grill. At least, that’s what it looks like he was trying for in the video.
You know a car is going to be great when more than 50% of the commercial is the fun stuff you can do outside of the car. It’s almost like, “Yay! We’re finally out of that lame ass Prius, let’s party and skydive and shoot off fireworks! Woo-hoo!”
I was really lucky with my 2003 TL, never had to replace the transmission and it had a little over 150,000 miles on it when I sold it. I did have the rear-view mirror leak the dimming fluid one hot summer in Texas. It melted the plastic around the around the shift column when it dripped out of the mirror.
I am disappointed that I didn’t see this in the comments already. Maybe I missed it.
ESPN thinks that TP is the best QB option for the Browns, Pettine says, “no” - http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation…
Two things to point out that I didn’t see mentioned that are shady as hell. Dan Rooney was inexplicably the US Ambassador to Ireland from 2009 to 2012. No one in Pittsburgh drinks regular Iron City anymore; it’s all IC Light and their fruity flavored variations on Bud Light Lime.
Wait! Is that The Fall Guy!? That truck definitely took more jumps.
I’m not a financial expert, but I think the keys are having that extra $20k and knowing how you can use it best.
San Diego Chargers fans can say the same thing!
