It’s definitely a weight thing. All the other cars pivot up on their front wheels, but the fronts stay stationary while the back slides up the incline of the plow. The VW doesn’t, the front end slides horizontally as the back rises up, probably due to the lack of weight in front.

I don’t know if it’s due to the shape, or maybe the weight, but the VW’s front end doesn’t get clipped by the edge of the plow, which is the main reason the cars seem to be rolling rather than just getting pushed like the VW. Instead the back of the bug slides up the plow while the entire car slides sideways

Robotics aren’t limited to the same range of motions we are. The way we do things is evolutionarily efficient for our specific structure and range of motion, but it’s not necessarily the most efficient way to do a specific task.

No one is proud of this

He just said “potatoes”, even potato powder includes an actual potato at some point in the process.

Just based on the information in the article, even if he canceled the event (and had some proper level of liability protections) he’d still be having to fund whatever legal fallout came from the breach of contract suit the venue would probably bring.

Yes, but like most cultural things, you generally go with the most widely known example when making a point vs a more obscure source it said example may have been influenced by/copied from.

I assume it’s because the founders/owners get a big check, which they can then use to spend on stuff while still having enough left over to start another studio once the current one gets shut down.

It’s nice to know that the current trend towards games that could have been ok, but now have a ton of extra grind tossed in to either mask the fact there’s not much content, or encourage you to spend more cash on the chance to get what you need in game to avoid said grind, isn’t going away anytime soon.

All I wanted was a decent epilogue. 30 seconds of waving from a spaceship door does not an impactful culmination of hours upon hours of gameplay make.

Honestly, if Segways had been as cheap as the “hoverboards” that were super popular for 20 mins before they all spontaneously burst into flames, and cities hadn’t immediately started making/talking about making rules to ban them from sidewalks, they probably would have caught on.

My first car was a 93 Civic. It was not built here in America, it was imported.

Your definition of children might be stretched a bit far.

Then publishers can either force GameStop to enter into a similar business relationship, or cut them off altogether.

He might have been drawn to the way the book’s font rendered certain characters over others, then pulled a collection of characters that struck him as the most visually interesting before randomizing and manipulating them.

Subtext can be inserted both consciously and not. I suppose you’d have to find out if the Wachowski’s ever called out the subtext either as intentional, or as something present upon past reflection to be able to definitively say that particular bit of content is there.

I don’t know where you are, but you might also check out bear spray. It’s not always regulated the same way as mace, since it’s a lower concentration of (usually) the same active ingredient. It might be more effective than spray paint however.

The same place you’d see someone driving anything made by Dartz. Basically the person that’s rich and either has eclectic taste, or really wants to stand out amongst their rich peers.

It isn’t about a lack of talent. I’m sure there’s a dozen pitches a day coming in for things that are new and different.

Probably smoked.
