I assume a lot of these tournaments aren’t being put on by professional organizations, but rather things that spring out of the fandom. A lot like various conventions.

That huge fine certainly won’t outweigh whatever profits were derived from the fraud, and it will just mean they’ll need to start making up more and higher fees for their account holders to make up for the loss.

I assume once all the meaningful monetary wealth has transferred from the bottom 90 percent to the top 10 indentured servitude will come back into fashion for a time, followed by a variation of medieval serfdom.

Back in HS I had a social studies/history teacher that was a retired Detroit cop and big on Michigan and Detroit history.

Only about half of them worked properly on Chrome, the others didn’t actually display the vote totals once you clicked. So don’t feel too left out.

Because you’ve never tried to buy something oddly obscure enough that it’s generally only sold Business to Business, from one manufacturer to another that’s going to use it to make a bunch of something else.

I think it depends on the process. I remember I drove my first car off the (used) lot with a plate on it. Coke Zero is the only coke that comes out of the fancy freestyle machines and actually tastes like what it’s supposed to. The normal Coke and Diet Coke all taste like crap out of those machines as compared to bottles/cans/traditional fountain dispensers.

It’s a commercial, so if they were worried about that sort of thing in the first place, they probably took out a short term policy that covered just the events as related to filming and its associated potential issues.

Not seeking legal assistance in that sort of case is just foolish. That’s the sort of case a lawyer would take on contingency, so he’d really have had zero to lose.  

Well, at the very least it creates awareness. I have no, nor did I ever have any, intention of buying one of these, or any of their cars.

I’m sure it’d blow this “journalist’s” mind to learn that additives like Sodium chloride have been in foods for a thousand years.
