Lately I have had an influx of extremely polite cat-calls. For example, I was walking home, and a guy called out.

"Miss! Excuse me, miss?"
I turned, completely expecting something terrible. Then...
"Your dress is absolutely lovely."

I've had this compliment THREE TIMES, all from different men. Instead of shouting "Hey big

Tom? Is that you?

Would you like to know what women really think about this attempt at a comment?

Isn't that part of the sexist default, though? The dude's job is the most important thing in the family, so everyone moves for it. What about his wife's job? What about the kids' friends? It's actually nice to see the high-flying man make the sacrifice for once.

Dammit, I wish I could read more of this instead of having to watch a video.

OMG when I first got married I told my husband that I would be in charge of the laundry - just because I don't want him to sort through my discharged panties :( I got kind of mad at him one day when he did it. He looked at me like I was crazy.

Ugh yeah. Once I came home and my boyfriend was like, hey, I did your laundry and put it away for you! My thoughts immediately went to the Stains and I was horrified. He didn't say anything, of course. But I still died inside.

I have stains that aren't period stains. I have discharge stains. Many. Am I actually the only one on earth, or is talking about discharge such a taboo that no one will admit it?

Both times with the same girlfriend. She let one slip while doing the old 69 right in my face. I couldn't stop laughing. End of sex.

Solution: have East Asian wedding. Problem solved.

If this lackluster Excelmanship is any indication, this is a man who lacks passion.

SURPRISE

The is a lovely story and all, but where is the gay food promised in the title? Gay food is underrepresented in mainstream media as it is, and frankly I expected better from Jezebel.

Look! Realistic but tiny stomach rolls on an iconic picture...and nobody at the time thought they were shocking or obscene. Stomach rolls: (almost) everyone has them—even the super thin!

I bet that could be a whole column.

Have they considered working from home with Google?

I am experiencing a feeling of great pleasure from Brazil's humiliation....if only there was a word in German that precisely defined this emotion.

Going off somewhat dated knowledge, those California cities listed are fairly economically depressed and have high crime rates. It definitely does not seem like women are making more money in those cities because they are doing well.

Hillary, contributing something to society would mean finding out why this is the case in these cities and explaining it to us so we could have a discussion about that and see how we can work toward income parity in all cities.
