Same, though anime is pretty dated now, it could do with a remake. I loved Gantz:O I so wished they made another, the cgi was top notch. The first live action was pretty good too.

Indeed. And no matter how good the voice acting is, they’re still invariably working from diminished material; there’s just so much nuance lost when you try to fit another spoken language in the place of Japanese...and that’s even assuming it’s a good-faith translation in the first place, and not dumbed-down or…
unlike everything else on the list id never heard of it either, really good series. you could also argue that Deadman Wonderland has many similar themes and could belong on the list

How do you get Kaiji—which I was surprised to see, and literally only clicked on your gods-damned slideshow to ensure it was included—but forget Battle Royale? I’m not even sure why you included Gantz at all; the thematic links are tenuous at best. I mean, sure, thematically Battle Royale certainly isn’t as good a…
The Running Man would fit perfectly on this list.
No BR. Jesus fucking Christ!
Seriously..how do you forget Battle Royale haha
Kaiji
This list loses any credibility it could scratch out without that inclusion.
You list “The Condemned” on here but not the two Battle Royale movies?
please cancel your netflix.

Studios comic series Clive Barker’s Hellraiser—co-written by Barker himself—Kirsty Cotton takes Pinhead’s place as Hell Priest to try and reform Hell from the inside, while he gets sent back to Earth as his past human self, British Army Capt.…
It is!
Ha. Nope but again Clooney clearly has the dramatic chops to pull off BW and Batman from post 70s.
Agree to disagree. Keaton will always be Batman in my head canon.
