For being the last beautiful Toyota in my mind, here is the 1974 Toyota Celica and when looking mint with aftermarket wheel like the one in the pictures, it's gorgeous. Come to think of it most 70s Japanese cars looked gorgeous mint with aftermarket wheel

Crack Pipe: my neighbor is selling a prestine white notchback example for half that.

I was on pretty much on board until I saw the interior. Good lord. For that kind of money you could find an E55, or M5 with an unmolested interior. Sorry to say it, but CP.

Although half the things don't relate to me, I totally agree, TOTES

Not just with driving cars, but also with punching the guy next to you on the subway, you just have to control the urge

NP if I get to seance the ghost of Isaac Hayes before I get to buy it!

Having owned one of these in the past, I don't understand the V8 swap.. I guess I never understand them, but it diminishes the personality of lots of these cars. The I6 was a beauty of a motor, 7k redline that it would hang at all day long. I can't see this car being nearly as fun with a v8..

Saw the pic. Almost immediately clicked NP. This is indeed a badass mofo ride!

Nice price, didn't even read the blurb, just clicked.

At this point, a 240Z is almost worth that for a chassis alone, and they are only going to get pricier. NP even though my instincts are telling me American engine in Japanese car ruins the purpose. Would be fun, though.

Oh hell yes. If there's no rust, as he says it would be a pretty cool price for this early Z.

What's with the slip-joint pliers and disconnected battery in the engine-bay picture?

SWEEEEEEEET! That's how I like to ROLL! YEAHH! Get out of my way.

I’d sooner shell out the $22k for yesterday’s Datsun, and that ain’t happening.
