@bokscutter: #2 is something I think about on a daily basis.

@randlsa: in your fantasy world where right and wrong are black and white, sure. in the real world, we have systems to help determine the two... and you just demonstrated your complete lack of understanding of the legal system.

@Gizmo45: and maryland... and virginia... there are way too many of them.

@spiegel1: better than waiting in line for 40 minutes so the one dude can take his time filling up 6 cars. and usually I fill up in my home state, anyway, MD... much less than all of the above.

@PipeSmokingVolvoDriver: I think 100% of states should require lights with wipers. It boggles my mind how many people don't do this. It's really dangerous, especially if the rain is heavy!

@pauljones: I purposefully fill up in DE, PA, or NY just so I don't get stuck in NJ for this reason.

front license plate requirement. stupid, stupid, stupid.

seriously? that is a toyota, not a hyundai. is it too much to ask for just a _little_ bit of fact-checking before posting?

@967-1111: bingo. that makes him an idiot

@Max Drelinger: I find it hard to believe he had the most appealing wheels on the lot. I work for a dealership and the only cars that get wheels stolen are the ones that don't have locks on them. It would be different if 1) they are especially desirable wheels or 2) all of the cars on the lot have locks.

I'd find it a lot easier to feel bad for this guy if he had wheel locks on his car. If he didn't, well, that's just stupid.

looks like a miniature delorean

buy a modern car that doesn't require a piece of metal being inserted into the steering column. problem solved.

@NTIV10: I hope it's a hell of a lot faster than 4.4 seconds as well.

They got rid of the engine that made the car special, and it's only got a top speed of 188 vs. 203. I'm sure it will weigh more too. Where is the improvement, exactly? I bet it costs over $100k to boot.

that would be when I turned off the traction control for the first time in an E39 M5 and immediately spun out.

"it feels overwhelmingly Germanic in nature. The build quality of the interior is on-par with modern VW's, the seats even look and feel like something out of Germany"

torque free and rattly V10? have you driven one? LOL!
