Absolutely. I totally agree with you. I've thought it was ridiculous that people would even consider buying a marginal upgrade since they started with the 3GS. Just never understood it really. I also don't understand why Apple with its infinite resources and money can't just design an entirely new handset every year.

While I respect the point you're trying to make, the later iterations of iOS 6 and the iOS 7 beta just barely worked on my old iPhone 4. Using my phone as much as I do, it's well worth having new and fast hardware to make my experience with my device as smooth as possible.

And also the fact that the games are completely customizable (which makes it completely worth it) and the fact that it's a computer and it does far more than just gaming. If consoles did the practically endless amount of things you can do with a PC and were made of the same quality parts, they'd cost just the same.
