I see what you are saying. The sales numbers the first 2 years of FJ availability (chart below), it appears it would’ve been competition for the 2-door Wrangler (JK), but with sales dropping like a rock the following years - it certainly wasn’t.

I have absolutely nothing against the FJ, it was a cool and unique vehicle. Thought I’m not sure how accurate the these numbers are since they’re not from an official FCA website, but based on the 14,000 FJ units a year you described - I don’t think I’d actually consider the FJ a true sales competitor to even just the

One of the chief rivals? I think Ford is smart to finally bring back the Bronco, but since the Wrangler has been Chrysler’s cash cow for the last decade - I think it’s safe to say it’s Ford’s sole target.

I have stopped to help soooo many people over the years, (and have been helped myself a time or two), but ... um ... Canada.

I always liked these.... still major CP.

My previous Jeep Wrangler (TJ) with the 2.5 liter 4 cylinder got noticeably worse fuel mileage than people I knew with same year and model Jeep, but with the 4.0 liter V6. So this does not surprise me at all.
