I usually pay around $200 - $300 for jeans, so nothing had changed there, I just assumed that the only difference between regular and raw denim is that the raw denim’s wear/fade pattern would look different/better compared to your typical pair of jeans... So I wanted to give them a try.

They were unsanforized, but I didn’t know that when I actually bought them (first pair of raw denim I’ve ever purchased), I only found out the difference between sanforized and unsanforized after I had already purchased them, worn them, washed them, and gave them away... I’ll likely try another pair of raw denim…

Not at all, there are jeans that cost MUCH more than that (well over $500)... Look up Iron Heart or The Real McCoy, they’re roughly in the $200-$300 price range (mine were Iron Heart) for raw denim... You get what you pay for, especially with jeans, some brands are meant to last over a decade, unlike the typical pair…

I have jeans that are 3-6 years old, I wear them once or twice and then wash them, they’re still dark and still look great (with wear patterns etc...), so I don’t buy into this “don’t wash your jeans for months” nonsense...
