“What is Shep on about today? Let’s see wha-”
No, it’s an opportunity for them to make an additional $60 per Joy-Con pair and then put out the SNES ones and make even more money.
I hope that the good side of Nintendo really terrible account system means that they are burned to your system, so at least you wouldn’t have to be online but can’t play them on other consoles (like their “account” system “works” currently).
The rumor I’ve heard is that Nintendo specifically avoided any kind of VC on the switch early on so that people would spend their money on titles other publishers were putting out instead, making the platform more publisher friendly.
Did they really mentioned anything new for the online system?
I’m pretty sure most PS4 updates are just there to break third-party peripherals.
This is off-topic but I’m feeling trolled by Sony’s apparent artificial scarcity affecting the PS4 Pro right now—contrasted against their aggressive marketing telling me to just go out and buy one. I didn’t expect to be able to find the 500 million edition or the Spider-Man edition by just walking into a store but I…
I’m surprised Nintendo didn’t link the in-game SNES games to their e-shop and charged players $8 to play a 20 year old game #nintendoBusiness
That’s all things like this ever does.
I’m so grateful for the internet for providing dissemination of an opinion like this that used to be restricted to the poorly-mimeographed pamphlets left in laundromats within walking distance of your apartment, or whatever poor server was able to discern the inscrutable handwriting of the notebooks that you’d spend…
“Regressive leftism” AKA “Why did they take my 14 year old’s waifu’s boobz?!
Yeah, Nintendo should have fired their lawyers for such a terrible oversight.
Depends on how you want to spin it. I’d argue Nintendo put themselves there. They shouldn’t have signed such a disadvantageous contract in the first place.
Wouldn’t matter, aside from closing it entirely which would likely be a massive hassle.
We have a train bridge like this in my city. It is on a road that has 10 signs before you get on it that say “No Commercial Traffic” and “No Trucks” and “Low Bridge”. Once on the road, there are signs every few hundred feet warning…
ICE is one of the largest law enforcement agencies in the United States that has statutes they are the primary enforcement agency none of which are to terrorize or illegally imprison. In fact, on of their main missions of ICE is to combat human trafficking, whose victims are people who are terrorized and imprisoned…
I was obsessed with PSO. A little repetitive, but such a great console online game.
I know we were hype as fuck for PSO in my circle when it hit the GCN, based on me being all over the Dreamcast version for a while before then. When the Cube version hit Europe, we spent weeks beforehand reading up and scouring the then-sparse internet for news pretty much daily. And on release day, the four of us…
Oh how much I miss having a free summer to play PSO all day long.
Phantasy Star Online. So, clearly the best console.
