The webpage indicates that a deficiency is rare, and yet I hear of more and more people extolling the virtues of this shot. It seems like in most cases, an adjusted diet or treating for anemia might alleviate the problem without injections. I'm not a medical doctor though, so I don't know.
Is there a difference between getting the shot vs taking a B vitamin pill?
