Shit, that made me cringe.

I kind of agree with Dect here, but building a computer from scratch takes about an hour and a half (at most, if you use your own thermal paste, and do some cable managment). Installing windows, drivers, and the like, might take you another two (you don't have to be there while it does it, at least not for the OS).

Wow, awesome. Works great. First comment in gawker in weeks (I used to comment on almost every article). I seriously hate this thing.

Technically, it is.

You have to be kidding me. Gizmodo is so Mac biased this days that is almost sickening.

Now I just HAVE to stab someone.

This is going to be a very weird mythbusters episode.

What if that was the whole point? Going against the current of forced perfection and iDesigns?

PLease GIz, bring the old comment system back. I had to find a new post for this to be seen. Old posts get lost, discussion is limited... It just plainly sucks!

Well, you have to admit, that is one fine way to go.

Wow, this system sucks.

There's little better than when Jeff Bridge's , almost unable to contain his excitment says "...I got in!"

I can probably round up $70 mil... Could they, like, maybe, leave me there?

Awesome. I had a B-52 with nuclear capability on my garage for ages. Never took it for a spin, never knew how.

Because while 30-pin or 19-pin is used by Apple products, microUSB is used by android phones of hundreds of manufacturers, Wacom tablets, compact cameras, car chargers... SImple logic. Plus Apple would never let the 30-pin patent go for cheap.

PLEASE, CHEACK YOUR SOURCES GIZ. I'm from Uruguay... No one in the last 20 years has ever left their doos unlocked. Safety is a thing of the past, and crime is treated like a "myth" by the current government. Crime is becoming more and more violent, with criminals killing their victims "just in case".

ahaha, I'm glad someone caught that.

No problem.

We have laptops today. They are (mostly) not equipped with 3G/4G/we. The surface would benefit from wirless broadband capabilities, but it's not a deal breaker.

That's it. I'm moving to Madagascar.
