Criterion’s still standing at EA, but without the original heads. They all moved out and, last I heard of ‘em, were talking about starting their own thing. This is all after that horrible tech demo EA presented two E3s back where they hinted at Criterion doing some sort of extreme sports game.

Watching it again, it’s pretty interesting how much of a “Burnout 3: Takedown” vibe the track and physics have to it.

This is the reason I want VR. I’m a sucker for rollercoasters and sky diving and those sort of high adrenaline in controled situations kinda deals.

What I’m not enjoying of this is that I still dont know if the game will be good. Why would I invest time in the universe of a game I still don’t know if I’ll like.

I guess you’re right. Given that it allows you to go all real time action, I’ve always seen it as one but yeah... It’s not like you can even go through the game like that, it’d be impossible.

THIS. Holy shit I’ve played Helldivers and Sportsfriends so much whenever someone drops by. As someone who enjoys indies and couch co-op, Sony has been superb in that front.
