I can't tell you how many times I read that in Cosmo when I was a teenager.

This is good to know and thanks for taking the time to write it down. I've actually always had a lot of symptom relief by drinking dark grape juice (though I've heard the sugar content can bother people). The biggest thing of all in dealing with UTIs, for me, is NO CAFFEINE! Caffeine can irritate like nothing else.…
Also, if you are unfortunate enough to get a UTI, a glass of cranberry or grape juice can significantly reduce discomfort (mind you - it can reduce discomfort/symptoms y'all, it won't cure the damn thing. Gotta hit the antibiotics for that). Some people say the sugar in juices will aggravate a UTI, but I've never…
Side note: between those foot fungus commercials and the anthropomorphized Mucinex boogers, I'll never be able to eat and watch television at the same time again.
The Reproductive Health Library on Youtube has safe, non-scary educational videos about abortion procedure(s). I had a (very progressive) women's studies professor in college who recommended them as a resource in order to combat some of the garish, fear-inducing bullshit put out by anti-choicers.
Well, I just followed you despite my deep and abiding jealousy.
My graduation speaker: stodgy federal judge. Yours: Captain Von Trapp.
Oh, god. Now I am so fucking super-hungry for a popsicle. But seriously, yes, popsicles, Gatorade and Saltines.
1. Echoing others - you are one brave person and should feel totally proud of yourself.
I love Live Lounge because it provides an outlet for performers who want to, well, perform. In a time where many singers seem unable or unwilling to go live, it is refreshing.
Yeah, I can see that, too. I also thought, "Hmm, it's gotta be about more than this."
I genuinely don't understand why people post remarks making ultra-specific assumptions about another whose life history they don't know and who they just happened to encounter in the comment section of an internet article. Your whole comment is 100% wrong (so very wrong), but that's not really the point.
Well, that's kind of the point. The "it could always be worse" technique annoys some people, but everyone copes in their own way. I've had some shitty days, but I've never had the luxury of quitting over what amounts to an inconvenience. I deal with it. Jeesh.
I understand that it was probably an awful thing for the nurse to have her car vandalized (though I am unsure whether there was any damage, or whether there were just multiple garbage cans on top of the car). However, to threaten to quit because of it? You would think that after taking care of a terribly ill little…
Sorry to interrupt your convo, but as a fellow Joseph Cotten fan, I have to recommend his autobiography "Vanity Will Get You Somewhere" (if you haven't read it). Good stuff.
Sorry for the late reply, but I had to recommend food-grade diatomaceous earth. It is completely non-toxic, cheap and easy to use. Widely available as well - even Amazon has it. Google it and be sure to get food-grade.
