My understanding is that a separate law already makes those areas off-limits to photography.

Women can possibly still find some judicial relief in civil court. Depending on state law and the circumstances of a particular event, a creep shot can qualify as assault and/or invasion of privacy.

From today's (9-15-14) edition of The Daily Norseman:

Your house is haunted?

I am so sorry for what you are going through (vagina-wise); the idea of this asshole getting a singing telegram about chlamydia made my night. Here's hoping he works in a very, very crowded office.

It's too bad the shirt kerfuffle left a bad taste in your mouth but, in actuality, you got the most important thing accomplished - your money went to charity. I assume it is a reputable charity?

Sounds bad but actually great: This week, I went to the dentist. Twice. I am terrified of going to the dentist. But I did it. TWICE.

Autoimmune disease runs in my family (my sister has Crohn's, my aunt had rheumatoid arthritis and, coincidentally, my mom has ankylosing spondylitis). I always suspected I had Sjogren's (I've consistently had dry eyes, mouth, etc) but, for me, it was just about finding a medical professional who would pull the trigger

This really hits home for me. About 2 months ago, I was diagnosed with Sjogren's syndrome. It has been a long, painful and exceedingly frustrating process. I have seen countless doctors, had umpteen vials of blood drawn, been exposed to numerous x-rays and have been charged thousands of dollars in medical costs; for

And I'll just add this study as well.

I got my JD in Illinois, so I'm no expert in Texas law but I believe the distinction is made in order to cover all possible injury. I think it is probable that both "serious bodily injury" and "bodily injury" are further defined in relevant case law. Perhaps Diana has more information.

Ha! I was about to post the same thing. I was raised Missouri Synod (including 16 excruciating years of elementary/high school). The LCMS is absurdly political and ranks right up there with the most extreme Christian fundamentalist sects in America. I ran screaming away as soon as I could.

Oh Lindy! Whenever you write a post, I Facetime my sister and we read it together. Now what am I going to talk to my sister about on Facetime?! No, seriously, what? I have low Facetime tolerance syndrome.

Spirit Airlines (and I use the term "airline" VERY loosely here) has a long and truly awful history of misogyny. This article contains but a few (horrifying) examples, re:

Hi there. Fellow depressed person here. You are right - it is a battle that is seemingly never-ending. I have had major bouts of depression throughout my whole life and have gleaned at least some information about the kinds of things that help me. For example, I do better when I force myself to keep a schedule (get up

There is nothing wrong about wanting to feel safe. Here are some things I do/have done to feel safer: (1) Put an ICE contact (aka emergency contact) in my cell phone, (2) lock my doors when driving, (3) carry a full travel charger in my purse, (4) set emergency contacts on speed dial, (5) learned self-defense, (6)

Merrell, Merrell, Merrell! I've been wearing only Merrells for about 10 years and my über-sensitive toes haven't complained yet. They aren't exactly fashion-forward, but they have way more personality than other so-called "comfort" brands. They have their own website, but don't get them there; Zappos and Amazon

Well, that picture is the stuff of nightmares. My nightmares, specifically.

Not even glorified...
