No. I didn’t miss that.
No. I didn’t miss that.
I didn’t say everyone should automatically be given nitroglycerin if they show up short of breath with chest pain. I said Tashonna should have, because it could have saved her life. Nitroglycerin absolutely can be administered as a precaution and should have been in this case. Women tend to present atypically, which…
Pathological liars don’t need reasons. Why does Trumplethinskin lie all the time? Because he can.
Always assume the cop is lying.
What the fuck was even the point of this lie?
If cops can lie on the job sometimes and for some reasons, when can they not lie, and why should we ever assume a cop is not lying? Isn’t lying to get justify an arrest almost the same as lying to get a conviction?
This is absolutely fucking wrong and I really hope her family sues the hell out of them. It won’t bring Tashonna back, but maybe it will teach the hospital a lesson so that this doesn’t happen to someone else. She should have been given nitroglycerin, aspirin and morphine, put on oxygen, hooked up to a heart monitor, a…
What the fuck was even the point of this lie?
Holy crap.
Not sure why a British Bobby is being used to represent Seattle but hey. why not.
There is absolutely no justification for cops ever lying about incidents, or to suspects. In many other western nations they are not just obligated to tell the truth, but must also hand over all the evidence they have at time of questioning to the suspect’s lawyers. And they still get convictions over there. It is…
I wouldn’t hold out too much hope for additional sports coverage on the A.V. Club. Teti has been blessing us with Block & Tackle since 2014 without it leading to wider sports focus on the site. Still, even without a broader mandate, at least we have a reliable source of encouragement to keep on long snappin’.
In the (regular season) NE/BUF game last month, the clock time between the calling of the first-half two-minute warning and the actual halftime was TWENTY-NINE MINUTES. Don’t know where that fits in here but I’m still amazed by it.
I also noticed (I believe in the AFC championship last year) that when the game is moving faster than usual, they will start extending the commercial breaks and game timeouts. I remember sensing that the game got to the five minute mark of the second quarter fairly quickly, and then the amount of commercial timeouts…
Tangent Time:
Thank you. It amazes me that as much money as football makes, and therefore how much the broadcasting companies make, that the graphics typically look like they were done on my college roommate’s Amiga 1000.
Does Josh Allen’s camper drive surprisingly well in the early going before inexplicably ejecting its occupants when trying to park? Sigh...
Clothing is just a mesh on a rig, so like I said - unless they have the shittiest pipeline and tools on earth, this shouldn’t be that hard.
Yes, adding new modes, mechanics, reworking UI and stuff, yes, can lead to a “fix a thing, break two more” situation (and several hours of QA). But simply adding a new model is not that big of a deal, considering even amateur modders do that in pretty much every PC game.
Retargeting animations to a female rig isn’t that much work. It’s possible that they have a really shitty pipeline that makes it harder to do so, but they act as if they’d have to do everything from scratch, which is mostly bullshit.
Adding anything in game development is a lot of work.
