Cars are never short-term money makers. They will quickly go down, then go back up in a few years. Cars like this you drive a little bit here and there and in 5-10 years they will appreciate. Look at the Ford Gt's, Diablo's, etc. going up in value now.

I prefer a clear section that illuminates in amber.

Why wouldn't they just use an electroluminescent strip rather than hundreds of LED's? Seems easier and less costly.
